WGCB # 35-04-12 Astabula County Ohio. Ashtabula County has the most Covered Bridges of any county in Ohio with the total now at 19. This bridge was built c1900 with at 138 footlong Town Lattice Truss with a 9 inch x 38 inch thick Arch added in 1985 to strengthen the bridge. . One of four covered bridges spanning the Ashtabula River which is the Algonquin Indian term meaning "river of many fish."The Bridge is open to traffic.
